our story

We set up Body Confident Bootcamp in April 2017 with a vision and passion to create a community for women to feel empowered through exercise and nutrition. 

Our aim was to not only build body confidence, 

but to inspire our women to live each day with a positive mindset and motivate them to make healthy lifestyle changes to achieve results both physically, and mentally.

As busy working mums ourselves, we understand the struggle of finding time to exercise around family life. By starting our Bootcamp we have brought like-minded women together, seen friendships blossom and built a family that we love. 



Steff and Shona are fitness professionals and friends who share a passion for inspiring women through fitness. They appreciate how intimidating gyms can be and are extremely proud of the incredible community they have created through Body Confident Bootcamp. Bootcamp Chichester

Meet the coaches


"My journey that led me to where I am today is all thanks to my husband and daughter Pixie."


As an ex dancer, Steff has always been into health and fitness, however due to a back injury she was unable to pursue her career in performing arts. Her life took a very different direction and she ended up working as a Customer Service Manager at British Airways for 6 years. 


In 2015 in the lead up to their wedding, Steff and her now husband joined a local Bootcamp and her love for exercise came flooding back. After having Pixie in May 2016 Steff knew she did not want to return to BA and decided to follow her dream to train as a Personal Trainer and she has never ever looked back!! 


" Helping others achieve their goals is a seriously amazing feeling. My own goal is to motivate and inspire other women to love exercise, make it part of their lifestyle and to be the best version of themselves."


To Shona exercise is an important and meaningful part of daily living. From stress relief, enjoyment and encouraging others, the love for her career is only getting stronger.


After having 2 children, Shona realised the importance of being a positive role model. By changing her mindset and lifestyle, she is teaching her children a lifelong positive attitude towards physical movement.


It all started with boxing at the age of 10 which lead to Shona going on to represent the South of England. To now, a successful Personal Trainer and a partner in the ever-growing Body Confident Bootcamp.


With a complete love for fitness and challenges, Shona is constantly pushing herself out of her comfort zone and breaking moulds.

In 2017, she competed in the Pure Elite Championships in Kent and has plans to compete again in the near future. 


Shona is extremely passionate about fitness and supporting women to live a healthy, happy and balanced life.
